While we do not encourage educators to cancel class on a regular basis as that would affect his or her reputation, we do understand (and so are parents) that there are emergencies that cannot be avoided from time to time.
Every class or lesson cancellation must have a valid reason which will be announced to the parents and students along with the lesson cancellation notice or announcement.
Having said that, it is the educator’s responsibility to officially cancel the lesson on the platform in order to inform the students of the canceled lesson. It is pretty easy to do so.
This is how you can cancel a lesson on the platform.
Step by Step:

- As a teacher, you will be at the Teacher’s Dashboard once you login.

- On top of the Dashboard page, please click My Classes.

- Under My Classes, click the name of the class or click View Details to view the class/lesson that you want to cancel.

- To cancel the lesson, please click the bin icon
on the same row of the lesson that you intend to cancel.
- To cancel the lesson, please click the bin icon

- Once the bin icon is clicked, you will be greeted with the pop-up below. Review your reason for the lesson cancellation again and follow the guide. Once the reason is submitted, the lesson cancellation notice will be posted to the parents and students along with the reason. Therefore, please make sure it is a valid reason.
- With this, class/lesson cancellation is completed. You may double check the announcement made to the class under the Announcement page or the section on the Dashboard.
